Founded in 2020, The Tech Coach is a virtual technical training organization based on the South Side of Chicago, IL.
Working in collaboration with non-profits and community organizations, we teach iOS development to socio-economically disadvantaged individuals.
Whether participants are looking to up-skill, change careers, or enter a brand-new professional field, The Tech Coach exists to facilitate their journey to success – one step at a time.
The Tech Coach works with a simple but solid focus to help youth choose a tech profession that aligns with their skills and interests, as well as build digital products! Their new extensive set of skills include, UI/UX Design, Project Management, and iOS development to increase their future organization's online presence.
We help the youth explore all their possible opportunities so that they can progress in becoming the next generation of entrepreneurs. When it comes to exposing the youngsters to this learning process, we make sure that it's fun, interactive, and engaging. Cultivating problem-solving, leadership, collaborative, and critical-thinking skills are all part of the progressiveness to help them develop personally as well as professionally. Our experts deal with every individual personally to understand their potential, interests, and aptitude to build the best solutions and possibilities.

Contact UsHello and welcome! My name is Shanice and I’m the Founder of The Tech Coach LLC, having launched it back in 2020. While my professional background lies in Mechanical Engineering, I’ve always had a deep interest in entrepreneurship and empowering inner-city youth. So, when I had the chance to participate in an inspiring iOS bootcamp at the City Colleges of Chicago followed by a fellowship at Northwestern University’s Center for Excellence in Computer Science Education, I signed up immediately! I have been teaching iOS for 3 years now, with no plans to stop anytime soon. I’ve created The Tech Coach to provide young people, formerly incarcerated individuals, and other socio-economically disadvantaged members of society with everything they need to know about iOS development. I believe that technology has endless possibilities to solve real-world problems, drastically increase an individual’s income level, and revolutionize the future trajectory of different communities – and I would love for you to come on board next!
